How the Calculator Works
- Billed guests are the guest count or 25, whichever is higher; on the lamb menu, 20 guests or fewer take a half lamb at R2,800.
- Billed guests are multiplied by the salad and dessert rates, and by R14 on a Sunday or public holiday.
- Extra serving staff add R850 each.
- The travel band for the distance is added; over 100 km is quoted.
- Lamb menus show the lamb size: 18 kg for 25 to 30 guests, 20 kg for 30 to 35, 22 kg for 35 to 40, and 22 kg lambs at up to 40 guests each above that.
